About Maddy

Maddy is a long time Wyoming horsewoman dedicated to creating solid horses and riders. She currently splits her year between Ucross, Wyoming and Aiken, South Carolina to allow her to ride, train, and compete all year round.

A Pony Club Foundation C2 graduate, Maddy has also earned her USDF Bronze Medal. In the past several years, she has produced 15+ Intro to Training level packers for both amateur youth and adult eventers.

Maddy studied with multiple 5* event riders, beginning as a working student in Texas in 2016. Six months at that barn expanded not only her own riding skills, but her instructor skills as well. Since then, Maddy has been teaching lessons and training horses locally in Wyoming during the summer months and hauling down to South Carolina in the winter months. Maddy works as an Assistant Trainer at 5* Eventer Kate Brown’s barn, teaching lessons, working client horses, and grooming at FEI level horse trials. This split schedule approach has allowed Maddy to really broaden her dressage knowledge in the saddle, as well as expand her understanding of the horse sales market.
